Since 2009 the MuseumNext conference has been highlighting innovation in the field of museums by bringing together those who are shaping the future of the sector.
This year, the conference offers perspectives from speakers from 23 countries, and the opportunity to hear about innovative apps, challenging exhibitions and how museum professionals are using the internet to connect with their audiences.
This year we are taking further steps towards championing those who are transforming museums through technology with the MuseumNext Award for Innovation, a new accolade which will reward the very best in the sector.
We are now inviting nominations for this award, a nomination should come in the form of a title, a description of no more than 500 words and a link to the website, app, social media, supporting images & supporting information.
The award will be given to a project, museum or company which has used technology in a transformative way.
All projects must have been launched after January 1st 2013 to be considered for the MuseumNext Award for Innovation.
The winner will be announced at MuseumNext in June.
