Who should come to MuseumNext?
This event is relevant to a wide range of museum professionals, Directors, Curators, Exhibition Officers, Exhibition Designers, Education Officers and those responsible for developing interactive displays. In fact it's for any staff interested in exploring how to work with their audiences to create more engaging, more innovative, and more powerful museum experiences.

What is the "unconference" session on the second day of MuseumNext?
An un-conference session is a talk proposed and facilitated by someone attending MuseumNext. This is a chance to share your ideas, your experience and find other people interested in a common issue.

The unconference sessions will be determined at MuseumNext. They should be conversations, not lectures, about topics that will help participants develop their wild ideas into reality. So people can come with ideas for it based on their skills, but need not propose in advance.

What happens to the idea's developed after MuseumNext
?
Our goal is to give you the tools you need to explore the idea and push it to a level where you can propose it to a funder, a boss, or get going on making it happen yourself. For the non-pitchers, the goal is to apply your expertise to an out-of-the-box project... and potentially come up with a new project of your own.

What kind of wild ideas should deligates bring to MuseumNext?
Do you have a project you've always dreamed of doing but aren't sure how to accomplish it? An exhibition idea that seems too risky for your museum, an educational program for an audience that is foreign to you, an initiative that seems hard to push through your institutional culture? Or do you have a concept for a whole new kind of museum or museum experience? We will be selecting 5-10 projects for further development at the workshop.

What does it cost to attend?
£190, however an early bird booking price of £130 is available for anyone booking before August 14, 2009
.

When do I have to register for the event?
MuseumNext is designed for a limited number of people, so we suggest that you book sooner rather then later.
